Retail Sales Associate (Part Time - 3-4 days/week)
We are currently hiring for this position as of May 2024.
Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn — 99 Grand Street (Home & Gift) AND/OR 319 Graham Avenue (Home & Woman).
Schedule: 3-4 days (20 to 30 hours) per week. Weekend availability required.
Compensation: $21/hr

Responsibilities include:
+ Being an all-star salesperson by offering suggestions/guidance and making sales while conveying a natural ease and authenticity with customers.
+ Monitoring and pulling as needed for e-comm orders.
+ Checking out customers and collecting payment.
+ Customer service through excellent written and verbal communication
+ Maintaining the storefront (organizing, cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, etc).

+ Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail
+ Prior retail experience (applications with no prior retail experience will not be considered).
+ Extremely reliable and high accountability
+ An outgoing, warm, vibrant and friendly personality with an authentic, natural ease with people
+ Self starter who takes initiative
+ Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
+ Organized, efficient and aesthetically/visually inclined (gift wrapping, merchandising).
Please note weekends can be VERY busy and intense, so the ideal candidate has a lot of energy, enjoys the fast pace and hustle of New York City, and can stay focused amidst many things happening at once.
